About Carrow and Faunt Families
Carrow and Faunt are now One-Name Studies

Carrow and Faunt website honors my parents Bill Carrow and Betty Faunt whose marriage in 1943 in
Delaware started this combined family.Major changes are taking place in what we know of the
families though DNA testing for many of the lines. Carrows particularly which I wove together for
cohesion are being teased apart into families.

in progress. The Carrow and Faunt website and family tree has grown quickly. Very importantfamilies
here are
Dugan,Coyle,Swanson,Rementer,Ulmer who are cousins in Beverly NJ where my maternal side of the
family lives for 4 generations. All of these are families who came from the Old World to a New
World where the rivers and the sea were still very much a part of their life. My cousins, my sister
and I grew up in the Delaware Valley near a great river.
My Faunt family came from Fethard Tipperary to Beverly NJ in 1869. Fethard is a walled Norman built
town built in 1206. We find Norman-French called "L'Enfant" in nearby Limerick and Cork, as my
grandfather told us. Members of that family also is in Kilmallock Limerick Ireland at Fantstown
Castle until the mid 1500s. They were military men and mercenaries in antiquity which fits their
Norman heritage.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
